Chris is an extremely creative and talented craftsman. He did a great job helping us design what would solve our storage needs while keeping the design aesthetic of our house. Also, he has great follow through and communication and got the job done on schedule. We plan to use him for more projects in the future. Thank you Chris, our kitchen is great!

I had an idea in my head about a modified sleigh bed with storage. I found one that somewhat met my needs at a renowned furniture manufacturer. I then stumbled across Dennen Designs. Chris listened to my ideas, looked at the manufactured piece and designed a bed that exceeded my needs and wants. He then hand picked the rough walnut from one of his many suppliers and artfully constructed the bed using top rate hardware and finishes. Along the way I was asked for input to ensure the final product was perfect. I will not hesitate to call Chris Dennen should I have want for another fine, handmade custom piece.
Chris Dennen has done many projects for my wife and I. Chris has built custom vanities, installed kitchen cabinets, and built numerous pieces of custom furniture. Each time we have worked with chris, he has been incredibly professional, prompt and fair. the finished product is exactly what we wanted we will hire again and again for sure.
this is actually the third time we’ve used chris at dennen design for projects at our house. we have a custom piece of furniture, kitchen cabinets, counters and most recently a built-in cabinet for our bathroom remodel. every time the work has been top quality, on time and very reasonable for custm craftsmanship. all this has been accomplished with a level of trust and respect that allows me the comfort to have him work when we’re not around. chris is fantastic. we hired him to build our kitchen for us. we told him what we we wanted and chris took his notes back to do some initial drawings. what he came back with was what we needed. we were blinded by what we were used to in our house, but chris came back with a completely different design that increased storage, increased efficiency, and inreased our view. he worked with a unique space, an un-even floor, un-level and un-plumb old house and made it all come together. i can recommend him without reservation.
chris does beautiful work. i completely trust his ideas with design and color. he is a true artist, all the way down to his drawing design for my piece. we went with him for a table design in mind. he listened to our ideas and shared some great ideas with us to make the piece better. he is a very hard worker. i will certainly hire him again.

Dennen Design recently refinished my barn wood bar counter-top and dining table, as well as a large butcher block counter in my laundry room. He was courteous, on time, professional, and friendly. He took the time to ensure the end result of the counter-top refinishing would be exactly the look I wanted. The process involved sanding off prior finishes and he did this efficiently and left no mess whatsoever. The end result are counter-tops I love and that fit the design of my home. I would refer anyone I know looking for this type of work to be done to Dennen Design without hesitation... he was a pleasure to work with.
